Dr Rosemary also answers a second question from a reader, 'For the past seven weeks, I have been suffering from migraine-type symptoms every day in which I see lights at the edge of my vision, have numbness on the left side but don’t have the usual thumping headache. My doctor wants me to take beta-blockers but I am not keen. Is this a migraine or is it something more serious?'
